3. Scrutinize the creases. When the hand is pinched and then released, there is no crease due to its elasticity. The rayon fabric has obvious creases after loosening the hand, and the crease is difficult to restore the original shape. Although the nylon silk crepe has creases, it can slowly restore its original shape, so it must not be confused by its illusion.
4, test fiber tension. Pull out a few fibers at the edge of the fabric and moisten it with the tongue. If it is easy to break at the wet place, it is rayon. If it is not pulled off at the wetting point, it is silk, such as the fiber is wet and dry. The strength is very good, it is not easy to break, it is nylon or polyester yarn.
5. Listen to the friction. Because the silk surface is protected by sericin and is resistant to friction, the dried silk fabric will emit a sound when rubbed against each other, commonly known as: "silk" or "sounding"; while other chemical fiber products are silent.
