London Fashion Week Data Visualization Project

Recently, the organizer British Fashion Council (BFC) collaborated with creative studio Holition and Google, Condé Nast and Pulsar to create a data visualization project - "Blossoming Fashion Conversation" Showcase the number and coverage of social, news and commentary posts related to the 12 major fashion issues around London Fashion Week (19 days total).

The main topics of the entire visual research include: sustainability, model health, luxury and street fashion, designers and production, emerging talent, industry diversity and overall innovation, with the aim of interacting with the industry and beyond. Showcase the creativity and global reach of London Fashion Week.

The data will be implemented in the form of tree roots and branches, reflecting the above information and its changes during the London Fashion Week:

The roots represent articles related to London Fashion Week in eight regions around the world (North America, South America, United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, Oceania);

The branch represents the number of mentions and impressions on social media each day for each topic in 19 days.

The data visualization project will be on display at Store X in Creative Space 180 Strand during London Fashion Week and the London Fashion Week Festival.
