Malaysia Art Fair opens in October

The Malaysia International Art Fair 2011 (Ma Yibo) will be held from October 28 to November 1 at the Kuala Lumpur Foreign Trade Center Exhibition Center. There will be a total of 55 galleries from 20 countries exhibited.

The Spanish gallery ATR Gallery will bring Pablo Picasso and Joan Miro's works to the Chinese people, which is commendable. In addition, the bronze sculpture of Jesus Curia, which is highly favored by local collectors, can also be seen this year.

In addition, the organizer will also cooperate with several Chinese art institutions this year, namely Today Art Museum, Xi'an Chinese Painting Academy, 88.6, Tsui Hang's cultural and artistic creation base, etc., exhibiting works by heavyweight artists, including Wang Guangyi, Yue Minjun, Fang Lijun, Yongzheng Jie, Xiaochun Miao, Xijing Wang and so on. The quality of the work is even comparable to the collections of the major art galleries. The performance of the international art auction house is very fierce. At the same time, it is the first time that Malaysia has exhibited a large number of contemporary Chinese artworks.
