Qing Dynasty Jade Appears in Macau

The special cultural relics exhibition co-organized by the Macao Museum of Art and the Palace Museum under the Macao Civil Administration Department is an annual cultural event in Macau. This year, the Art Museum continued to join hands with the Palace Museum in conjunction with the Macau International Association of Macau, the Macau Special Administrative Region Government Tourism Administration, and the Macau Daily to jointly organize the “Gentleman Bide - Palace Museum Collection of Qing Dynasty Jade Articles”. The achievements of jade and jade carvings in the Qing Dynasty were among the highest in the history of the dynasties. The 343 pieces of jade displayed were rare treasures. The exhibition period will start from now until March 10 next year.

The exhibition is divided into six special topics

The criterion of "a gentleman is better than Deyu Yu" not only has an impact on ancient thoughts of life, but also has an important cultural significance for modern society. In the prevalence of folk jade, the promotion of jade and traditional jade culture is to meet the needs of society.

The Palace Museum's jade collections of the Qing Dynasty are divided into six major topics: "Accepted by Heaven", "Fanadian Fanyin", "Quality Room Accompanying Partner", "Several Cicadas", and "Jade Not to Depart". “British Splendor”, displays rituals, religions, furnishings, texts, costumes and everyday jades, such as jade cymbals, pilgrimage beads, Kwan-yin, musical instruments, wishful wishes, pen holders, hairpins, makeup boxes, and cup plates.

There is no lack of first-class products, such as "Crystal Jade Dragon New" "The Emperor's Treasure", which is the only emperor of the Qing Dynasty - Qianlong was engraved after his abdication to Jiaqing.
