8 special shoes and apparel enterprises such as Teppek are eligible for export exemption

According to the Shishi Office of the Quanzhou Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, as of the end of July 2011, 10 enterprises in the Fujian Inspection and Quarantine Bureau had obtained export exemption qualifications. Among them, there are 5 footwear companies (Ryukyu, Xtep, Peak, Huafeng, and Double Chi); 3 garment companies (Green, Bald, Dina); and 2 electromechanical companies (Strapdown, Anbo).

In recent years, the local government and inspection and quarantine departments have solidly promoted export exemption inspections, strictly followed the requirements of the "Administrative Measures for Inspection of Import and Export Commodity Exemption" to carry out the cultivation, assistance, and recommendation of exporting enterprises, in accordance with the development of a family, a mature family, and a recommended family. The model has consciously supported and recommended a number of ethnically-leading, national enterprises with independent intellectual property rights and independent brands to obtain export qualifications, actively cooperated with Fujian Province to implement the export brand strategy, and promoted the development of Fujian's export-oriented economy. Starting from the analysis of enhanced commodity risk, products that have been assessed as high risk will not be accepted for exemption applications from relevant export companies that year; no exemption will be imposed on commodities with high energy consumption, high pollution, and the state’s restrictions on imports and exports.
